Stressed Skin Saviours

So with my final year exams around the corner, it has been a very stressful time for me and it's definitely showing in my skin! I have had the worst breakouts EVER, and they have been so painful and angry so I decided to go back to using a few staple products which have worked wonders, and have left my skin feeling refreshed!

Firstly, is the Origins Make a Difference + Rejuvenating Treatment Lotion. When I first started using this, I didn’t really feel like it was doing much for my skin, but when I stopped using it, I definitely noticed a huuuuge difference in the fact that my skin tone had evened out in the sense that dark areas and redness has dramatically been reduced and also it made my skin feel really fresh and hydrated. I use this just before moisturising to help lock in all the moisture.

I have repurchased the Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask many times now because it is AMAZING! I find that it is really good for deep cleansing and really helps to draw out and remove impurities from my skin. I usually use this once week, and I find that there is such an incredible instant improvement in the appearance of any blemishes I have. AND its only £5.49 from Boots!

The Elemis Fresh Skin Clear Treatment Gel is one of my favourite targeted spot treatments. I usually apply the smallest amount of this twice a day, once in the morning, and then again before bed. It is so good at reducing blemishes without drying them out. It gives a tiny bit of a tingle when applied, but I like that haha it makes it feel like it is working!

And finally, the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] anti-blemish cream is the new and improved version of the original which was more of a gel to be applied to the affected areas only, but apparently, this is more suitable for all over application. This is what I reach for to treat the scarring or dark marks left behind by my spots. I like to apply this all over (but mainly on my cheeks where the most scarring is) after cleansing but before moisturising. I have noticed a massive improvement in the appearance of my skin as I do have less dark areas and a much more even skin tone.
